Mr. Johnson is a founding partner of PRWT Services,
Inc., and the current Chairman & CEO of the newly formed PRWT Holding
Company. In 1988, he joined with three other principals to form what would
become one of the nation's fastest-growing, minority-owned and operated
businesses. Prior to founding PRWT, Mr. Johnson was the President and CEO
of Fidelity Systems, Inc., a cable/line construction company. Mr.
Johnson's long career in public service began soon after graduating from
Allen University in South Carolina, where he received a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Sociology. Mr. Johnson continues to be active in several
community and civic organizations, committing his time and talent to
community and youth development, with an emphasis on education and
scholarship. He currently serves on the boards of the following
organizations: The Urban League of Philadelphia, The Philadelphia Tribune,
African-American Chamber of Commerce, The American Heart Association, the
Philadelphia-based Berean Institute, The Cheyney University Foundation,
United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania, American Red Cross, The
Philadelphia Zoo, Girard College, West Insurance, Delaware River Port
Authority Blue Ribbon Panel, The Philadelphia Workforce Investment Board,
and Community Service Development Corporation. Most recently, he was
appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the newly formed
Transitional Work Corporation, Inc., in the city of Philadelphia.
